With Venom: The Last Dance approaching its third weekend of programming, the North American box office yesterday welcomed the long-awaited horror Heretic. In this regard, the estimates offered by Deadline speak of a collection in previews - starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday - of around $1.2 million. Statistics in hand, the film with a new Hugh Grant in the role of the villain took in $100 thousand less than Hereditary (also from A24), and $200 thousand more than Abigail.

With previews of this magnitude, Heretic could debut this weekend with a collection of 10/12 million dollars, most likely in first position at the US Box Office (Venom 3 is expected to collect a figure slightly lower than these estimates). Among other things, the debut horror has been positively received by critics, obtaining an extraordinary 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. We will continue to offer you new updates.
