About the Yellowjackets Series

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), “Yellowjackets” tells the story of a team of talented high school soccer players who (un)fortunately survive a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. The series will chronicle their descent from a complex, yet strong and united team to a wild clan, while also following the lives they have tried to piece together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never truly past and that what began in the wilderness is far from over. Combining survival epic, psychological horror, and coming-of-age drama, the ten-episode third season will pick up after the dramatic finale of season two.

Season 3 stars Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything), Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable), Lauren Ambrose (Servant), Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), Jasmin Savoy Brown (The Leftovers), Sophie Thatcher (Heretic), Samantha Hanratty (Shameless), Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road), Liv Hewson (Santa Clarita Diet), Steven Krueger (The Originals), Warren Kole (Shades of Blue), Kevin Alves (Locke & Key), Sarah Desjardins (The Night Agent), and Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi), with Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) returning in a recurring role.

“Yellowjackets” is executive produced by Lyle, Nickerson, and showrunner Jonathan Lisco. Creative Engine’s Drew Comins also serves as executive producer alongside Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa, and Brad Van Arragon. The series is produced for SHOWTIME by Lionsgate Television and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of Paramount+ markets.
